There is a book in press, which deals with the climate evolution throughout the past 20ka and the 100a ahead within the European Alps. This is to our knowledge the first time that scientists from different fields (climatology, limnology, glaciology, tree ring evaluation, pollen analysis, the investigation of rock-glaciers, etc.). As such we (R. Schmidt, R. Psenner and C. Matulla) as editors together with all the authors are proud to present this essential piece of work.
